Paula Abdul vs. American Idol
After the death of Paula Abdul’s stalker, Paula Goodspeed, Paula announced that American Idol actually gave her stalker the address to where she lived. But not only that, they allowed her to get close to Paula.
“I said, ‘This girl is a stalker of mine. Please do not let her in.’ Everyone knew. I was shaking,” Abdul said.
Nigel Lythgoe, ex-producer of American Idol, says he remembers when Paula Goodspeed was brought into the room and announced as a HUGE fan of Paula’s. Howevever, he doesn’t deny or remember Paula stating she was the stalker but insists if she said it then he has no reason to doubt it.
