Barbara Walters Top 10 Most Fascinating People
Barbara Walters has announced her top 10 most Fascinating People of all time and I must agree some are really. Lets take a look through her list and chit chat about it.
Will Smith
Tina Fey
Tom Cruise
Miley Cyrus
Frank Langella
Rush Limbaugh
Gov. Sarah Palin
Thomas Beatie
Michael Phelps
Barack Obama
Now to be honest I knew every name except one. Who is Frank Langella? Of course we all knew Tom Cruise would be on the top of that list with all the crazy things he’s done in just the last two years. Ya know they say love makes you do crazy things and it wasn’t really until Tom met Katie that he starting jumping on couches and stating he’d eat placenta. No wonder he’s fascinating to watch, then he married in the most romantic way and had a beautiful little girl.
Thomas Beatie, while it may disgust some and others will state he hasn’t broke history in a way he has. No matter how you look at it, he is the first to have a baby in the way he did. Now I hear he/she is pregnant again. I guess once he’s done having those babies he’ll decide to go back to being a guy. I think that’s how it works right? After all, isn’t he a woman right now?
Tina Fey, wow is all I can say with her impersonation with Sarah Palin and all those skits she did. She definitely had me a few times. What about you?
Will Smith, now that guy can act and he seems so down to earth. Speaking of which, his wife, Jada makes sure her kids value money. She is their bank, the two have already been in movies and have to ask mom when they want to buy something. I’m guessing for Christmas she’ll buy them things though.
Sarah Palin and Rush, those are two even I’m fascinated with. Rush, ya never know what he’ll say next. In a way he’s like radio man, Howard Stern. Is he even still on the air? (I use to listen to him every morning when I first got married)
As for Miley Cyrus, at first I thought she was great but I think she got big a bit too fast and it is showing. I worry for her, not only is she hitting that rebellion age but now she’s all about the new guy in her life. Maybe that’s why she wants to be emancipated, I sure hope daddy dearest can keep those strings a little longer. Even though, she’s disgusted me in the past year, my daughter still looks up to her.
Obama, wow, this whole election things was exciting. Wasn’t it? he won, but even though he won he is still asking those that ran against him to be a part of his cabinet. Gotta love the saying, keep the enemy close.
I didn’t watch the olympics but I know all about Michael Phelps and him winning all those golds. Way to go man.
Sorry Frank, I’ve no clue who you are. Anyone want to discuss any of the above. Maybe your favorite moments with them?

The only people who really deserved to make that list were Michael Phelps, for breaking Mark Spitz’s record, and Barack Obama for making history as the first black president. If Miley Cyrus was fascinating to her target audience, then ok. But Tina Fey is a comedian who does an impression of a politician. Not usually fodder for a list like this as there have been many. I love Will Smith and hate Tom Cruise. Neither has done anything truly noteworthy this year. “2008″ being the operative term here. Sarah Palin? Are you kidding? Give her the “Foot-In-Mouth” award, but most fascinating??!! Frank Langella and Rush Limbaugh, not impressed. The pregnant guy? Ok. I guess, to some, he might be fascinating. But, really, I don’t know who put this list together or what the criteria was but I just wasn’t impressed.
No clue who this Frank is either. For all I know he’s Frank the goat from LiveJournal that drives me up the wall. Now I wouldn’t mind having Jensen Ackles on the list. I’d have to ask him if coherent words actually came out and I didn’t pass out how he cries so prettily. He’s is the prettiest cryer ever. Yeah I thought Miley was pretty cute but yeah the fame is likely going to her head and it could be fleeting.
