Sarah Palin Goes for the Blood

Many worry that Govenor Sarah Palin doesn’t have what it takes to be a VP. What exactly is that? What does it mean? Is this because she’s a female and can’t do a “Man’s job”?  There have even been tons of rumors starting already about her, here are some:

-  Her 17-year-old daughter is pregnant- Actually this is no longer news, she issued a press conference and addressed this. Apparently the other rumor was that her 4 month old son was “suppose to be her daughters baby” she cleared it up. Yes, her daughter is pregnant, 5months pregnant and plans on not only having the baby but marrying the father. Palin’s 5th child, the 4-month old boy is her child, not her daughter’s child. (rumor closed)

-  rumors have it that she has a 4-month-old boy with down syndrome so she can’t work. Does this mean her husband can never help out? This day and age a man and woman can reverse rolls. Or didn’t you know that?

-  She wore hoop earrings so therefore she’s trailer trash. Sorry to inform ya’ll but hoop earrings might’ve been way back when but anyone wears them these days.

-  Her and McCain have a thing. Ummm, after the way she looks and how old he is…I doubt it. Ewww, gross.

- She’s too hot to be in office. You are right, she’s freakin hot. Only old farts and uglies can make it in politics. haha yeah right.

Take a look at the pic, you telling me she can’t do what men can do. Get over it, it’s time for women to make history and this one already has. She was the first female govenor for Alaska. Why not VP?

My concerns have nothing to do with her gender, obviously being a woman myself. I would love a woman in office if she is qualified and can do the job well. I am not sure she can do the job. Her experience is over a small population on a local and stat level, no federal experience of any kind.

I find her interesting, though. Being a former beauty pageant runner-up, the way she reached office as Governor from the PTA, etc. She seems like a very real person.

I find it annoying that people always go after the kids. My feeling is that if the children of candidates are adults, they are fair game, but when they are under age, the media should lay off.

Please - before you get all excited that she is a woman - look at her politics. She is AGAINST almost everything that’s pro women. She is super pro life. So completely expect to lose the right to choice if she is elected. She is anti gun control, so expect rational arguments about crime to fall on her deaf ears.

    She makes Cheney look reasonable.

Do not get confused. She is not going to support women’s issues - her record is every bit as offensive as GWB’s.

The most disturbing thing I’ve heard - and I’m sure that it will be investigated at some point and the truth will be revealed so at this time it’s one of those rumors that always go around, but it’s a disturbing one - at 7.5 months pregnant she was in Texas and her waters broke, now even first time pregnant women would report immediately to their nearest hospital never mind a woman who already has had 4 children. Sarah Palin however gave a 30 minute speech, then flew from Texas to Seattle, then from Seattle to Anchorage and then had her husband drive her 45 mins to her local hospital. If she can’t make the right decision to ensure her baby’s safe during pregnancy, to me it questions her ability to make decisions that affect the general population.

I’m saying nothing about how her pro-abstinance and anti-sex education stance is working for her because Obama says “hands off the families”!

The more I hear about her though, the less I think she’s right for VP. McCain needed Fiscal experience and I’m at a loss to understand why he picked this Governor.

The reason it chose her is because she is a woman. If she had the smarts, she would have told him NO. He only wants her to try and gain the suporters that Hilary had. He is not going to do it. If anything, he made himself look even more stupid, if that was possible.

If this team would win the election, we would be in for some big troubles that do not even compare to past presidents mistakes.

I forgot the reason she should have said NO, McCain has been heard at times calling his wife a c**t. Then there was crude joke about Chelsse Clinton and Janet Reno. He has no respect for women.
