Wow, can you believe Nick Jonas has just turned 16 years old? Not sure how the time passed right? Well be on the look out, he’s already driving in his first car and its no trasher. Nick got his hands on a vintage 68′ Mustang. Wishing I could have one.

I thought this was some horrible joke last night as I heard a comment about this on TV. Apparently this is a true story and not some rumor about Laura Bush. In case you haven’t heard, Laura Bush got into an accident when she was 17 and killed a 17-year old boy driving the other car. This happened back in 1963, she was 17 and ran a red light hitting a car and killing, Michael, the driver of he other car. The passenger Jody was safe in her car, however the two girls were taken to the same hospital as Michael. Michael was thrown from his vehicle and died before getting to the hospital from a broken neck. Rumor has it he and Laura might’ve been boyfriend and girlfriend, but nothing was ever confirmed. Laura turned 17 only two days before the accident, which would kill a friend and I’m sure she’s had to live with the guilt ever since.

Why has this news hit? With the release of a new book called, “American Wife” by Curtis Sittenfeld within its pages is the story about Larua Welch/Bush getting into a car accident.

Oops, Heather Locklear has been busted for a DUI down in the Santa Barbara area over the weekend.  According to the police report she wasn’t busted for drinking, that’s right while she was pulled ovr for impaired driving there was no alcohol involved. Tests were conducted though and they believe she was under the influence of drugs. She didn’t have to stay in jail though and was released without bail.

As for what drugs he was taking, it could’ve been a mixture of her prescription for anxiety and depression. Back in March police visited Heather’s home after a  9-1-1 message came through about someone being worried Heather may be suicidal. Some time after that Heather sought help at a treatment center. We do know there is a custody battle between her and her husband and now both have been arrested for a DUI, only he was arrested with their child actually in the vehicle.

 You know how Disney is giving Miley Cyrus the birthday party of the century? It seems she isn’t very fond of the gay community and is banning them from her party.  The entire park will be closed on October 5th for her Sweet 16.

One thing is for certain, there is bound to be a ton of people at this park, especially those A-list movie stars and lets not forget those that will now want to boycott her now that she isn’t letting everyone in. But in all fairness she did sell tickets long ago for somewhere around $250 a pop if I can remember correctly. Did everyone expect to go just because they’ve seen her movies or been to a concert? Of course they did.

Paul Newman died at the age of 83 this past weekend at his home after battling cancer. Paul is definitey someone that willbe remembered, known for being a sports car driver, founder of Newman foods, began a summer camp for seriously ill children, etc. This was a man with a gant heart. You will be missed.

For those that have been waiting to hear the verdict in the Shia LaBeouf accident, the courts have come back stating no charges will be filed. I bet this just puts him at ease and a bit of smile on his face.

Rumor has it that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline might start sharing a bed again really soon. Now I’m not sure if we should believe the rumors, but one is they are going to couples counselling, but this could be just to keep civil for the kids. A source that after 6 months if things are going well Kevin will be moving back in as he still loves her.   What do you think, is this a good thing?

It’s official, Clay Aiken has let the cat out of the bag, he is in fact Gay. Apparently since the birth of his son,  Parker Foster Aiken, he has discovered he doesn’t want to tell any lies. (I find that sweet) So in order to do this he must come clean about his sexuality, which is what many of us already believed but now it isn’t just a rumor.

Talk about keeping a secret for a while, most of the press got wind of this back in 2006. But it wasn’t until recently everyone began hammering it out. I guess whatever floats the boat is what counts, so congratulations on facing up to it to the public and congratulations on your son.

The more and more I post about this strange couple, the more I wonder “Are they” or “Aren’t they a couple?” I mean one minute they seem to be and the next minute you wonder if this is all just some act. Well either way they were spotted together once again and this time at an Emmy Party where they were snuggling awfully close if they aren’t a happy couple. I guess during Sam’s breaks from being the DJ she would curl up in Lindsay’s lap. Talk about a loving moment. What do you think?

The event took place at the Kress in Hollywood, it was a post-Emmy party. So I’m guessing there were a ton of people that attended the Emmy’s and went there afterwards, course a ton that weren’t at the Emmy’s and just watched it on the big screen. Did you watch? What was your favorite part of it? Mine has always been leading up to it, you know the whole red carpet bit.

Michael Lohan is getting married, not sure when but he’s announced that he and Erin Muller are now engaged. I don’t think this really should surprise us as the couple seemed to be getting really close in the last couple of months. Hopefully this is a marriage that will stick and he’ll stay with her.

According to Star:

“We’re thrilled to announce our engagement. We can’t wait to start our life together as a married couple. We haven’t set a date yet, but we hope it will be a family affair.”
