Amy Winehouse Hospitalized & Released
Yesterday afternoon, Amy Winehouse was rushed to ER. There was a shield to cover her body from any paparazzi that planned on getting pictures of the ordeal that led from her house to the bus. Once inside she was rushed to Universal Hospital. No one knew at the time if this was an overdose, suicide or something dealing with her illness. Late last night she was released and doctors are stating she had a bad reaction to her new medication.
Her Rep told People:
“She was taking a new [medication] as part of her anti-drug treatment program. And it was an adverse reaction to that new drug. You have to try different things but unfortunately this was not the right one.”
It looks like she really is trying to get clean. Wishing you the best Amy.
I hope that it wasn’t a drugs overdose. I really do hope she is trying to get clean. Amy Whinehouse has so much talent and it would be a shame if anything bad happened to her. Thanks for sharing this.
