Johnny Depp Makes a Little Boy Smile

I swear this man deserves a medal for all the good he does. For the most part he tries keeping it low key whenever he does do something nice, but someone got wind of his latest good deed. Johnny Depp has kept his promise to a little boy and sent him his own vintage hat. This came as a huge shock to the boy and his family when they got a package in the mail for 12-year-old Jack.

See Johnny had met him while filming in the tiny town for a new movie he’s doing, “Public Enemies.” It was at that time Johnny promised the little boy his hat, who knows maybe the boy mentioned how cool it was. The family almost forgot about that promise until the box arrived but Johnny didn’t forget anyone either. The box of course had the hat but also tons of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” paraphernalia. Isn’t he sweet?

That is so cool. Sometimes people make promises and never keep their word, but he did.

I love Johnny Depp - we go way back, all the way to 21 Jumpstreet. I am glad that his talent is being appreciated and his kindness is being publicized.
