It was only a few months ago that we heard Lynn Spears was writing a memoir about her life as a mother to two celebrities, well her book is due out this fall. So for all you out there that have always wanted to know what life would be like in her shoes, or the going ons in Britney or Jamie Lynn’s life this is your chance.

The book is titled, ” Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World. Will you be buying it?
People:
“When Jamie Lynn got pregnant, it was put on hold. Lynne never stopped working on it because she wants to express her love for her children and tell their stories through a mother’s eyes.”

“[It] will not be a parenting book,” the rep added. “It’s [Lynne’s] story of what it was like being a mom and raising two very famous people. It’s a memoir.”

At one point I saw Lynne Spears as an aggressive businesswoman/mother who pursued the best interests of her children. Now, I’m not sure if the family’s fame and fortune got out of hand for her or her daughters.

I’ve wondered that myself, it seems, now with the book that it’s all about their fame and money. I sure hope not but many celeb moms seem to be trying to do it.

Hmmm, I’m more cynical than that! She didn’t stop working on the book because celebs have a limited shelf life. At least she has the decency to say it’s not a parenting book! As for the “very famous people” - we’re all more than well acquainted with Brittney’s assets, but until recently I’d never heard of her sister.

In the light of other “memoir” books that have recently been ripped to shreds for inaccuracies, I’m surprised that the rep is even daring to use that word! :)

I’d heard of her sister but only because I have three kids that LOVE “Zoey101.” I think momma Spears is only after what she can get from those girls’ fame and that is just sad. Course I’ve also said that for Dina Lohan too.
