Miley Cyrus Close to Quitting
Miley Cyrus actually came close to quitting show biz after her recent incident with the Vanity Fair shoot. But thanks to her family and close friends she has stuck through all the controversy and negative criticism. I feel for the girl as many of us tend to forget she is just a teen and is kind of learning as she goes through all this. Even if she loved those pictures she may not have been thinking of those younger fans that look up to her and admire her and want to be like her. Of course moms and dads were going to be upset but somewhere along the way we forgot she is one too. I’m sure her own parents are very worried about her emotional state at the moment and are right there for her.
When close friend, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, aka Ashley on Hannah Montana, was asked about how Miley was holding up this is what she had to say:
“Sometimes I’ll talk to her on the phone and she’ll be like: ‘It’s really hard’ or: ‘I’m really tired. I can’t do this.’
“I’ll always say: ‘You do want to do this. You love your job.’ It really hurt her. She didn’t know that people would look at it like that.”
How would you feel if Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana quit?
I think if she quits then that’s a win for the gossip mongers, the negative thinkers who always seek to emphasise what’s wrong. There are too many people who are happy to see those with talent fail and are only too willing to give them a hand. Usually these people aren’t very successful themselves, has-beens and wannabe-but-never-will-be people, but unfortunately they are loud and know exactly the right buttons to press to get others to agree with them. Miley has to put herself above all of this - so she did something that wasn’t quite approved of? So what? She’s not doing drugs, partying without her panties or hopping from one bed to another. She had some photos taken that were open to interpretation. Big deal. People need to put this in perspective of what else is going on in the world - and that includes Miley herself. She took a media beating, but she can ride this out.
On the other hand, she’s got enough money now to take a break from all this and just enjoy life for a while.
My thoughts exactly. I mean she’ll be a billionaire before she turns 18, if she wants to quit she can. But if she does I really hope it isn’t because of the negative.
Am I the only person who looked at those photos and thought, “so what?”
She looks like a little girl in them. I think Annie Liebowitz did a great job.
I’d be kind of disappointed if she quit — especially over this. I just don’t see Miley Cyrus as a quitter at all.
