David Cook Wins American Idol!
Last night it was David vs. David, one was big the other small, but both of which had sad stories. David Cook was the one that would come out the winner though, I guess you can say this is one bartending that won’t be going back to his day job. He even got an apology from Simon for being a jerk, now that’s a reward in itself. Don’t you think?
“I started this season — much to Simon’s chagrin — as the word nerd and I’m absolutely at a loss for words. Thank you guys. This is amazing. Thank you.”
David Archuleta, age 17, had his own sad story and we all know about him having a stage dad. Heck, he (dad) was even booted out of the stage so David could have a bit of fun and not drilled every day and having to practice until he was worn out. David Cook’s brother has been diagnosed with brain cancer, but was able to see his brother perform live.
Congratulations to both David’s as you both show lots of promise.
We’re just on the first week here - tonight we see the second lot of girls. Probably we’ll get the final by the time the auditions for the next Idol are complete! LOL Be interesting to watch the show knowing what the eventual outcome will be.
